  • 3-4 pieces of large lettuce leaves;
  • 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;

Preparation:

For this recipe, we need chicken fillet. It can be pre-boiled or fried in a pan, cut into small pieces.

We lay out thin pita bread (also called Armenian) on a flat surface (an ordinary kitchen countertop is suitable) and grease with mayonnaise. On top we lay out lettuce leaves, torn into several pieces (solely for the convenience of folding).

Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and spread on lettuce leaves.

We also cut the cucumber and tomato into small pieces - into cubes with a side up to 1 cm - and put them on a sheet of pita bread, in company with the chicken breast.

Three hard cheese on a medium grater (or any other, to your taste) and sprinkle vegetables and chicken on top. You can add your favorite spices on top - I have it basil, so I put it in, I think it goes well with all the ingredients.

We just have to tightly roll the pita bread into a roll, and our dish is ready.

Such a pita roll with chicken and vegetables can be eaten in this form (like shawarma).

Shawarma ingredients

  • 4 thin pita bread
  • 400 g chicken fillet
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 fresh cucumber

  • salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp ground black pepper

  • 250 g mayonnaise
  • 200 g of kefir
  • 3 tbsp. l. sour cream
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 0.5 tsp hops-suneli
  • 0.5 tsp sweet paprika

How to cook

First, prepare the shawarma sauce, as it will still have to be infused. To do this, in a deep bowl, mix high-quality thick mayonnaise, kefir with a fat content of 2.5% and fatty sour cream. Stir so that the ingredients are combined with each other. I recommend using medium-fat foods to keep the sauce thick enough.

Peel the cloves of garlic and put them through a press. Add the garlic to the resulting sauce.

Now add the spices. I usually use ground paprika, hops-suneli and curry recipes from a chef friend of mine.

Mix and leave in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, so that the dry spices in the sauce disperse and it is infused.

In the meantime, let's get down to cooking our starry fast food. Wash and dry the chicken fillet with napkins. We clean the meat and cut into long strips.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and put the chicken in it. Add salt and spices. I have black pepper and curry, you can use the prepared chicken seasoning.

Fry the meat until golden brown and cool.

Cut the cabbage into the thinnest possible strips, the cucumber and tomato into half rings.

Lavash leaf with ready-made aromatic sauce.

Put Korean style chicken and carrots fried with spices on one edge.

Put slaw white cabbage on top.

Rub hard cheese. Sprinkle the filling on them.

First, wrap the filling in a tight roll, then fold the bottom edge.

And carefully wrap the shawarma in a roll.

  4. Stir until the mixture is smooth. Grate hard cheese on a coarse or fine grater. It is better to take the one that is more salty. Take lavash 1m long or two small sheets, maybe they will be round or oval.
  5. In any case, there should be two of them. If the oval or round sheets are large, feel free to cut them into two parts. Using a cooking brush, spread some of the chicken filling over the sheet.
  6. Cover with a second sheet, trying to line up the edges. Make a net of mayonnaise on the second sheet of pita bread. Work through with a brush to create an even thin layer. Sprinkle the grated cheese on the second leaf. The more cheese, the tastier the snack will be.
  7. Rinse and dry fresh herbs, chop finely. Sprinkle the chopped herbs on top of the cheese. Start wrapping the stuffed pita bread in a tight roll. Grease the edge of the sheet with mayonnaise so that the roll is whole and keeps its shape.
  8. Now wrap the roll in plastic wrap, wrap it tightly and put it in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, but better for an hour or two, or even overnight. Before serving, unfold the foil and cut the chicken and cheese roll into 4-5 cm thick slices. Put on a serving dish and serve.

Ingredients:

  • lavash - 2 pcs.
  • chicken fillet - 0.25 kg
  • processed cheese - 1 pc. (I have mushroom flavor)
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • mayonnaise - almost a whole pack
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves
  • soy sauce to taste
  • vegetable oil

Cooking method:

  1. The first step is to tackle the chicken fillet, it takes the longest to get ready. Wash, fry it in vegetable oil.
  2. You can not fry, but extinguish.
  3. Cool fillet and chop finely.
  4. Put the eggs to boil. Then cool, peel and grate.
  5. When I put eggs in cold water, I always hit their shells in several places, then they are easy to clean.
  6. Put the curd in the freezer for 20 minutes, then release from the packaging and grate.
  7. Peel, wash, chop the garlic.
  8. Add soy sauce and mayonnaise to prepared foods.
  9. Mix. Apply the resulting mass evenly on the pita bread.
  10. Roll up the roll and put in the refrigerator for an hour so that everything is thoroughly soaked.
  11. Take out and cut into rolls.

Lavash rolls with chicken

Ingredients:

  • Thin lavash - 1 pc.
  • Boiled chicken meat - 400 g
  • Processed cheese - 3 tbsp. l.
  • Mayonnaise - 1.5 tbsp l.
  • Salt - 3 pinches
  • Vegetable oil - 30 ml
  • Flour or bread crumbs - 50 g
  • Ground black pepper - to taste

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare the required ingredients. Boil part of the chicken in advance for 40 minutes if it is broiler poultry, or for 1.5 hours if it is domestic chicken. Be sure to let the chicken cool.
  2. Disassemble the chicken meat into fibers, preferably small. (Optionally, grind them into a pate in a food processor bowl, adding a little broth or water.)
  3. Add mayonnaise and melted cheese to boiled chicken, salt and pepper. Mix everything gently.
  4. Grease an elongated sheet of pita bread (rectangular) with the prepared filling very thinly. Do not lay out a thick layer of filling, otherwise you will not be able to cut the pita bread with the filling later.
  5. Roll the chicken pita bread roll, tucking the edges inward.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and cut the roll into portions. Breaded each part in wheat flour or breadcrumbs. This must be done !!!
  7. Otherwise, the filling will stick to the bottom of the pan and you won't be able to turn the rolls over to the other side.

Ingredients:

  • Thin lavash - 2 pcs.
  • Chicken fillet - 2 pcs.
  • Korean carrots - 100 grams
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Cilantro greens - small bunch
  • Dill greens - a small bunch
  • Mayonnaise - 50 grams
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Cooking method:

  • chicken breast,
  • Korean carrots,
  • processed cream cheese and salt.

Cooking method:

  1. Boil the chicken breast in salted water, cool and chop finely.

  3. Wash the chicken, remove the skin and separate the meat from the bone. Cut the pulp into small pieces about 2 cm and put them in a frying pan in vegetable oil.
  4. Saute the chicken pieces over slightly over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes until golden brown. Do not fry them too much so as not to dry out.
  5. Peel the onions, chop in half rings, put in a deep bowl and add vinegar, sugar and hot water. Stir and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  6. In a deep bowl, combine fried mushrooms and medium-sized tomato slices. Do not cut the tomatoes too finely, otherwise they will let out juice, from which the filling will be watery
  7. Put pickled onions to them, which are well squeezed out of excess moisture.
  8. Wash green onions, chop finely and add to all products.
  9. Cut the cheese into cubes and add to all foods. Processed varieties can be used instead of hard cheese
  10. Chop the garlic and add to all products.
  11. Add the browned meat.
  12. Pour mayonnaise on all ingredients and season with salt.
  13. Stir the ingredients. You will end up with a pretty tasty salad, so cook more of it so that you can roll some of it into a roll, and eat some on its own.
  14. Spread the pita bread on the table and apply the filling in a thin layer, evenly distributing it.
  15. Gently roll the pita bread into a roll. Do not press it too tightly so that it does not break.
  16. Wrap it with cling film and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  17. The bag will help the roll to soak faster and better, and not to crumble when cutting.
  18. Remove the film from the finished snack, cut the roll into portions and serve.
  19. If you take it with you to work, on the road or use it as a snack, then do not remove the package until you use it.

  • 1 bunch of dill;
  • 150 g mayonnaise;
  • 1 laurel leaf;
  • ground black pepper;
  • 2-3 peas of black pepper;
  • salt;
  • 230 g (2 sheets of 115 g each) Armenian lavash.

Cooking method:

  1. First, you need to prepare a delicate filling for our roll.
  2. To do this, rinse the chicken fillet well, put in a small saucepan, pour cold water (so that its level is several centimeters higher than the meat level) and, slowly heating until the water boils, cook for 30-35 minutes, removing the foam that appears on the surface with a slotted spoon.
  3. 10 minutes before readiness, add laurel leaf, black peppercorns and salt to the broth.
  4. Remove the cooked meat from the broth and let it cool completely.
  5. Cut the chicken and feta cheese into large pieces and place in a blender bowl.

  • fresh champignons - 300 g;

Cooking method:

  2. Chop the onions in half rings, throw them to the mushrooms and sauté until the vegetables are soft. Next, transfer the contents of the pan to a plate and leave to cool. Rinse the greens, chop finely, and cut the capers in half.
  3. Now we take a sheet of pita bread, lay it out on the table and grease it evenly with cream cheese. Next, we spread the fibers of the chicken meat, and then we distribute the fried mushrooms with onions. Sprinkle generously with chopped herbs and capers.
  4. After that, roll the pita bread tightly into a roll, wrap it in a film and put it in the refrigerator for a while. After a lapse of time, remove the film, cut the roll into pieces and serve.
