  2. Beat eggs with sugar for a couple of minutes, add starch and knead well until smooth.

  5. Beat the butter with a blender, pour the previously cooled cream into it and beat it all again with a blender.

How to cook Napoleon at home

To make a quick napoleon, I immediately start making custard. There are many variations of its preparation, and each housewife has her own one, but I like this particular method, since the cream comes out thick, but delicate in taste and soaks desserts well. Pour milk into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add a large egg, sugar, vanilla, starch and flour.


Then, using a whisk, I thoroughly mix everything to get a liquid mass without lumps.


Then I put it on medium heat and cook, stirring all the time until thick. It is more convenient to stir with a whisk, but look, stir from the bottom, as the custard can easily burn. In time, this takes about 15 minutes. Look at how it has become, if thick, then stop cooking. Then, remove from heat, add butter and mix until smooth.


The cream is ready and I leave it to cool slightly so that it is not hot, but warm. Also keep in mind that it doesn't have to cool completely, because warm it will saturate the cookies better.


To make the napoleon cake from the ears of biscuits even tastier, I will add bananas between the layers. To do this, I peel one banana and cut it into small pieces. Other fruits such as kiwi or orange can be added.


And now it's time to form the Napoleon cake, for this I put parchment on the bottom of the split form and fasten the form. Then I lay out the cookies in the first layer. It took me 12 cookies and a small piece for one layer.



Then I spread the next layer, and spread the banana slices between the cookies.
