A chicken, especially a homemade one, cannot but please our eyes. After all, her meat is so tasty, tender, healthy, but chicken has many advantages. One of which is that the chicken is always cooked quickly, and the dishes are festive, even if we make chicken for a regular family dinner.

Today I have a doubly holiday, the first - as I said, we will cook chicken at home, our own, and the second - I was treated to homemade Caucasian adjika, which you can’t buy in our city. It was brought from the Caucasus and made with great love, at home - in the Caucasian way. It's just a song! Therefore, today I have a special day and there will be a special dinner, spicy with peppercorns!

Would need:

  • Chicken - carcass - about 2.5 -3 kg.
  • Adjika - I have a real home from the Caucasus - 2 tbsp. (I'll tell you right away - it's very sharp)
  • Mayonnaise - 3-4 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - for greasing the baking sheet.
  • Tomatoes - a few pieces - for baking on a baking sheet with chicken.

How to cook baked chicken in the oven with delicious adjika:

I will make a reservation right away, you can not use mayonnaise at all in this recipe. But I added it so that our chicken would not be too spicy, because we are still not used to such spiciness. To be honest, I immediately tasted adjika, so it burned in my mouth for about 3 hours. She's so hot, but so delicious! Wash the chicken carcass thoroughly and cut it. I cut the chicken in the middle of the breast, as if opening the carcass.

I coat the baking sheet with vegetable oil, lay the chicken.

From above, I carefully grease the chicken with adjika, trying to evenly distribute the seasoning over its surface.

Then we put a little mayonnaise on the adjika (as I said, this can not be done) and with the help of a spoon evenly spread over the chicken carcass.

Around the chicken (optional) lay whole ripe tomatoes.

Prick each tomato with a fork or wooden skewer. We do this so that the tomatoes do not burst when frying. We preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees and send our beautiful chicken to bake for 50-60 minutes. This time should be enough for the meat to be soft, juicy and tender.

Look what a beautiful ruddy chicken I got. We take it out of the oven, cut it into portions and immediately lay it on plates with heat from the heat. Many households simply cannot resist - our chicken exudes such a smell. It turned out to be simply excellent in appearance, and what an aroma and taste, adjika from the Caucasus simply created magic.

This is the portion REQUIRED by my husband. And of course, don't forget about our baked tomatoes.

They complement the chicken very well.

Bon appetit Svetlana and my home wish everyone website!
