I don't know the correct story, but the basic composition of the salad is this: chicken breasts in curry spices, cheese, eggs, almonds and grapes. Boil the eggs ahead of time and set aside. Grapes are better to take quiche-mish or you will have to remove the seeds. A salad decorated with grapes of the same color, as well as green and red at the same time, looks beautiful. From the specified amount of ingredients, two such plates are obtained as in the photo.

Prepare the ingredients:

Tiffany salad recipe with grapes and chicken

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • grapes - 500 g;
  • almonds - 120 g;
  • chicken breast - 300 g;
  • parmesan - 150 g;
  • sunflower oil - 75 g;
  • mayonnaise - 100 g;
  • curry - 1 tsp;
  • parsley - 10 g;
  • salt - to taste.

Cooking:

Boil the meat in salted water for about 25 minutes. Cool, divide the breast into small pieces. Put the meat in a heated pan with oil. Add curry, fry chicken for 5 minutes.

Dry the almonds in a pan, cool and chop. Grate boiled eggs with cheese on a grater with large holes.

Wash the grapes, cut each one in half. Lay out the first layer of salad - curried chicken. Then eggs and parmesan.

Spread all layers with mayonnaise, sprinkle with almonds. Garnish the top of the dish with halves of grapes and sprinkle with parsley. Refrigerate Tiffany 2-3 hours before serving.

Tiffany salad with walnuts

Salad with Tiffany grapes goes well with walnuts. They increase the nutritional value of the snack. Grapes for decoration are best taken without seeds.

Ingredients:

  • walnuts - 70 g;
  • chicken fillet - 150 g;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • Dutch cheese - 100 g;
  • homemade mayonnaise - 100 g;
  • grapes - 200 g;
  • iceberg lettuce - 5-6 sheets;
  • salt - to taste.

Cooking:

Rinse the chicken meat, boil until cooked with salt. Cut the cooled fillet into cubes.

Rub the finely boiled peeled eggs. Dry the nuts in a frying pan without oil for about 2 minutes. Chop the kernels into small pieces. Grate the cheese coarsely.

Transfer homemade mayonnaise to a plastic bag, cut its corner.

Tiffany salad with mushrooms, prunes and dark grapes

An unusual combination of sweet prunes, mushrooms and chicken. Mushrooms can be used both pickled and fresh. Grapes for decorating Tiffany are taken seedless, with thin skins.

Ingredients:

  • chicken legs - 2 pcs.;
  • cheddar - 150 g;
  • fresh champignons - 300 g;
  • peasant butter - 50 g;
  • prunes - 100 g;
  • cashew - 70 g;
  • mayonnaise - 100 g;
  • dark grape fruits - 100 g

Cooking:

Rinse prunes, pour boiling water. After 5-7 minutes, drain the liquid. Cut prunes into thin strips.

Mushrooms cut into plates, fry in melted butter. Boil the legs, cool and remove the skin, bones. Chop the chicken into strips. Grind the cheese with a grater.

Put the chicken on a plate, then mushrooms, prunes, cheese, cashews. Spread all layers with mayonnaise. Cover the top of Tiffany with grapes.

Tiffany salad with pineapple

Ingredients:

  • canned pineapples - 250 g;
  • green grapes - 150 g;
  • mozzarella - 150 g;
  • chicken fillet - 500 g;
  • cheese sauce - 170 g;
  • greens (cilantro) - a bunch;
  • curry - 15 g;
  • vegetable oil - 70 g;
  • ground almonds - 15 g;
  • walnuts - 70 g;
  • salad - 4-5 pcs.

Cooking:

Curry the chicken meat, cut into cubes and fry in oil for 5 minutes. Chop the nuts with a knife. Tear half of the cilantro with your hands into a separate bowl. Cut the mozzarella into cubes, add to the greens, season with half the sauce.

Combine chicken, pineapple and remaining cheese dressing. Put the lettuce leaves on a dish, place a confectionery ring in the center. Meat and pineapples are the first layer, sprinkle it with nuts. The second layer will be mozzarella with cilantro and dressing, seasoned with chopped walnuts. Lay grapes on top. Remove the confectionery ring, put the remaining cilantro in its place. Sprinkle the finished snack with grated almonds.

The most favorite holiday is approaching - New Year. Every hostess thinks what delicious to cook on the New Year's table. Special love of our women - festive puff salads. Today we will cook one of them - Tiffany salad with chicken and grapes. The recipe will be presented in two versions - classic and adapted to the tastes of my family.

The girl under the nickname "Tiffany" casually mentioned the recipe of her favorite salad on one of the popular culinary forums, and a real Tiffany boom began! The salad was prepared according to the classic recipe, many variations were created, replacing some components with others, new ingredients were introduced (mushrooms, prunes).

Only one ingredient remained unchanged - grapes. But, over time, instead of green, they began to use beautiful tasty grapes of any color.

There were funny stories with the name itself - Tiffany. It is very pretentious, unusual, and for some it is completely unacceptable. One of my acquaintances, an Orthodox priest, was unusually proud of the culinary abilities of his “mother”. The special pride of the faithful girlfriend of the clergyman was the signature Feofaniya salad!

Let's look at the classic recipe first. The girl who composed it did not even give clear proportions of how much to use. Chicken (breast), boiled eggs, cheese, almond flakes, mayonnaise, lettuce leaves, green grapes for decoration. The proportions given below have crystallized experimentally.

Then I will offer you my signature recipe for Tiffany salad with grapes. We will step by step analyze how to prepare a popular salad so that its taste is the most harmonious and delicate.

In my version of the recipe, I refused to fry the chicken fillet, as in the classic Tiffany. Most often, I now use boiled chicken legs, skinless drumsticks and even soup sets for making salads. Boiled meat is much juicier, especially if cooked at 80°C.

Instead of curry seasoning, I use ground fenugreek (ucho-suneli, chaman). I don't add any almonds or nuts. Fenugreek has a delicate taste, similar to nut and mushroom at the same time. This is quite enough to make the taste of a salad with chicken and grapes harmonious. According to the reviews of my readers, it was this version of Tiffany that they most liked.

Salting or not salting the salad is up to you. I prefer not to salt. After all, we use mayonnaise for dressing, and it is already quite salty. I rarely put lettuce leaves - usually no one eats them, but I feel sorry for throwing away good.

Classic Ingredients

  • Two chicken breasts.
  • 100 g hard cheese.
  • Four hard boiled eggs.
  • Homemade mayonnaise (highly recommended).
  • Two teaspoons of refined olive oil.
  • Large emerald green grapes
  • A pinch of curry.
  • 60-80 g almond flakes or roasted crushed almonds.
  • Salt.

How to cook

  • Fry the chicken breast. The best way to do this is to heat a frying pan, fry the curried and salted fillet in refined olive oil or melted butter for 5 minutes on each side.
  • Flip only when one side is completely browned and golden brown. Leave until completely cooled.
  • Line a beautiful flat dish with washed and dried lettuce leaves.
  • Lay out half of the chicken. To do this, cut the fried fillet into small pieces or cut into larger pieces and disassemble into fibers.
  • On top of the chicken, three on a grater or pass half of the boiled eggs through the lettuce grate.
  • Then comes a layer of grated cheese, and a little almond petals or crushed almonds should be poured on top of it.
  • Repeat layers. Lubricate each layer with a thin mesh of mayonnaise. The topmost one is to grease with a rather thick layer of mayonnaise (without fanaticism).
  • Wash the grapes, dry them, cut them in half lengthwise with a sharp knife, remove the seeds with the tip of a small thin knife (if desired).
  • Very compact, berry to berry, lay out the cut grapes. Tiffany salad with grapes is ready!

My signature Tiffany salad with step by step photos

Ingredients for my signature version

  • 3 chicken thighs (about 600 g).
  • 200 g hard cheese.
  • Four hard boiled eggs.
  • Three-quarters teaspoon ground black pepper (optional)
  • Two teaspoons of fenugreek powdered in a mortar or ground (very desirable, it determines the taste of the whole salad).
  • Grapes (depending on the size of the dish on which the salad will be laid out).
  • Mayonnaise (preferably homemade)

How to cook

Boil chicken thighs in simmering water. If you have a thermal sensor with instant temperature reading, then you should cook at 80 ° C. Cool completely, remove the chicken skin, disassemble into fibers or cut into small pieces.

Put the chicken on a beautiful plate or dish.

Chop the eggs using a lettuce rack. If desired, three of them on a coarse grater.

Using a medium grater, grind hard cheese, sprinkle with fenugreek, ground black pepper.

Lubricate with a continuous thin layer of mayonnaise.

We repeat everything from the beginning until the products run out, spread a layer of mayonnaise on top. We try to put the ingredients together so that we get a small dome.

We remove the berries from the washed, dried bunches of grapes. With a sharp knife, cut into longitudinal halves. Place the berries tightly over the entire surface of the salad. You can lay it out simply in rows, or you can lay it out in zigzags, segments and other patterns.

We let the salad soak in the refrigerator for several hours and serve it on the festive table. Here is a picture of the finished salad.

Tiffany salad can be stored in the refrigerator at +4°C for twenty-four hours.

My remarks

  • If you have enough grapes, then you can make an additional grape layer. It is better if it is from green or pink grapes. Blue grapes release brightly colored juice and can ruin the look of your creation.
  • If you prefer chicken breast, then feel free to use it, just boil or fry the fillet so that it does not become dry and tasteless
  • I highly recommend flavoring the dish with ground fenugreek. If you haven't met him yet, now is the time to get to know him. You will fall in love with this spice forever!
  • Sometimes fried mushrooms with onions, steamed prunes mixed with crushed toasted walnuts are added to the salad with chicken and grapes. It turns out also delicious, but this is a very free interpretation of the Tiffany recipe.
